Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using MTG Copilot (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Accepting These Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MTG Copilot is a web application that helps users build and manage Magic: The Gathering decks using AI-powered assistance. Features include deck building, card search, collection management, AI chat, and card recommendations.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security measures, rate limits, or access controls
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service without permission
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without prior written consent

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create through the Service, including deck lists, notes, and collection data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to operate the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your decks or collections. You may export or delete your data at any time.

6. AI-Generated Content

The AI assistant provides suggestions and recommendations based on card data and your input. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI suggestions before relying on them (e.g., deck legality, card interactions, rules interpretations).

7. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, code, graphics, and branding are owned by MTG Copilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without permission.

Magic: The Gathering card names, images, and text are the property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Card data displayed in the Service is sourced from publicly available sources and used for informational purposes.

8. Disclaimer

MTG Copilot is an unofficial, fan-made application. It is not produced, endorsed, supported, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast or Hasbro, Inc. Magic: The Gathering is © Wizards of the Coast LLC.

9. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service may display links to third-party websites, including card retailers and reference sites. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MTG Copilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
