Game Plan

The deck is built around Sméagol, Helpful Guide's Ring temptation engine. The goal is to deploy fast mana on turn 1 and cast Sméagol, Helpful Guide on turn 2, then engineer exactly one creature death per turn to trigger the Ring and steal a land from an opponent's library every single turn. This compounding land theft creates a growing mana advantage that funds a powerful late game.
This is not an aristocrats deck. The sacrifice is slow and controlled — one death per turn, on your turn, every turn. The goal is incremental resource advantage, not chaining sacrifices for immediate payoff.

The Three Pillars
1. Ring Temptation = Ramp Each Ring trigger steals a land from an opponent's library and mills the rest into their graveyard. Multiple redundant trigger sources (Call of the Ring, Gollum, Patient Plotter, Nazgûl, Dúnedain Rangers) ensure the engine keeps running even if Sméagol, Helpful Guide is removed. The stolen lands accumulate — by the mid-game you should control significantly more mana than your opponents.
2. Graveyard Recursion = Removal Package Your removal and recursion are the same package. Creatures like Plaguecrafter and Accursed Marauder force opponents to sacrifice their best threats, then Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Phyrexian Reclamation, and Victimize return your creatures to do it again next turn. Opponents' graveyards fill up, which feeds Sepulchral Primordial and Breach the Multiverse for massive late-game swings.
3. Big Mana Top End The stolen lands eventually produce far more mana than a normal deck can match. Exsanguinate, Sepulchral Primordial, Breach the Multiverse, and The One Ring are the payoffs — spells that are backbreaking when you can reliably cast them several turns earlier than opponents expect.

Win Conditions

Exsanguinate — dump your enormous mana pool into a game-ending life drain
Syr Konrad, the Grim — every death trigger and recursion event chips away at all opponents simultaneously
Board overwhelm — steal opponents' best creatures with Sepulchral Primordial and Breach the Multiverse, then attack with an army they can't match

Key Notes for Piloting
Nazgûl are sacrifice fodder and Ring trigger sources and defenders with deathtouch. Bloodbond March lets you sacrifice one, cast another, and return multiple copies for repeated triggers.
Landfall triggers from Tireless Provisioner, Rampaging Baloths, and Scute Swarm are a bonus from stolen lands — not something you build around independently.
Meren of Clan Nel Toth functions as a virtual co-commander. Protect her. She turns every death into a free recur next end step.
