How MTG Copilot works

Hi, I'm Arik, a long-time Magic player and software developer. I've always obsessed over building decks that are not just optimized but genuinely fun to play. What I felt was missing from modern tools was the design side of the process. Not just card selection, but the thinking behind a deck.
That idea was crystallized by content creators who talk about deck design rather than just card picks. I looked for a tool that approached building this way and couldn't find one. So I decided to build it.
At the same time, I use AI constantly and found it consistently, badly wrong about Magic. The models are smart. They were missing rules, structure, and context. That gap is the problem this app exists to close, and the docs say plainly how far it has got.
I built this for myself, for my friends, and for you. It's not here to make me rich. I have a day job, but I love Magic. I would like to not lose money on this, so there's a small charge to cover hosting costs. I'm just charging you for the tokens you use.

The deck builder
Multiple card views, buy links, and the standard tools you would expect, plus a few you wouldn't.
- Design tab. Set your deck's concept, power level, play style, themes, win conditions, and budget before you pick a single card. The AI reads all of it when it advises you.
- Chat sidebar that already knows your list, your commander, your color identity, and your design intent.
- Analytics with mana curve, color distribution, and nine AI runners that read every card in the deck before drawing a conclusion.
- Import and export. Paste a deck list in Moxfield, Archidekt, or MTGO format and it resolves against real printings. Collections come in from a CSV export.
