Phyrexia: All Will Be One depicts the New Phyrexian invasion of Mirrodin at its devastating peak, introducing Oil counters and the Corrupted mechanic alongside returning poison counters and Proliferate to create a format where incremental synergies and alternate win conditions drive deckbuilding across every color pair. The set's mechanical identity rewards players who build around poison damage, resource accumulation through Oil, and the spread of counters through Proliferate, offering deckbuilders diverse paths from artifact synergies to sacrifice strategies to aggressive toxic strategies.

Draft archetypes

Artifacts

Phyrexia is filled with glorious artifacts. Gather as many as you can to outmaneuver your opponent.

Proliferate Control

Use proliferate to spread the glory of Phyrexia. Oil counters, poison counters, and loyalty counters are all ready to be proliferated.

Oil counters and Sacrifice

All Phyrexians are valuable, even and sometimes especially in death. Use your creatures and artifacts to generate oil counters when they die.

Midrange Oil counters

The more things with oil counters you have, the merrier. Use those oil counters to get the biggest, smashiest creatures you can.

Toxic Aggro

Take advantage of small toxic creatures, especially Mite tokens, to swarm your opponent.

Corrupted

Give your opponent three or more poison counters, then your corrupted cards become even more powerful.

Oil counters + noncreature spells

Build up your oil counters and overwhelm your opponent by casting a variety of artifacts, enchantments, instants, sorceries, and even planeswalkers.

Poison victory

You have the biggest, baddest creatures with toxic. Use them to get your opponent to ten poison counters.

For Mirrodin! Equipment

Someone has got to fight the Phyrexians. Your Rebels can use Equipment to stave them off.

Proliferate and Poison

Two great tastes that go great together. Use green creatures with toxic to deal out serious poison counters, then proliferate to finish the job.
