Split the Spoils
Sorcery

Exile up to five target permanent cards from your graveyard and separate them into two piles. An opponent chooses one of those piles. Put that pile into your hand and the other into your graveyard. (Piles can be empty.)

Dredge
Dredge is a static ability that functions only while the card with dredge is in a player’s graveyard. “Dredge N” means “As long as you have at least N cards in your library, if you would draw a card, you may instead mill N cards and return this card from your graveyard to your hand.”
A player with fewer cards in their library than the number required by a dredge ability can’t mill any of them this way.
Rulings
You decide which opponent chooses the pile while resolving Split the Spoils.
A pile may have zero cards in it but, if your opponent chooses that pile, you put all the cards back into your graveyard.
